Monday 01 - Wednesday 31 BRISTOL WALK FEST 2017 This year’s walk fest will take place between Monday 1st May and Wednesday 31st May 2017 with an aim to get as many people moving and exploring the city as possible. There will be walks suitable for all ages and abilities. X Factor winner Joe McElderry stars as Joseph. Where: Bristol Hippodrome, St Augustine’s Parade, Bristol BS1 4UZ Start: 7.30pm W: atgtickets.com Sunday 07 GREAT BRISTOL 10K The Simplyhealth Great Bristol 10K will return to the city this spring. Over 12,000 runners will take on the 10K course, which makes the most of Bristol’s picturesque backdrop. This fast and flat course is perfect for achieving a personal best. There will also be a family fun race after the main run, which will be suitable for children aged three and over. Where: Anchor Road, Harbourside, Bristol BS1 5DB Start: 9.30am W: greatrun.org/great-bristol-10k Thursday 11 - Saturday 13 GIN FESTIVAL Described in Timeout as one of the “Top 10 things to do in 2016,” the UK’s biggest and oldest gin festival is coming back to Bristol for 2017, serving over 100 different gins. There will also be lots of new brands, delicious cocktails and fun masterclasses to take part in at the festival. With a huge array of over 30 pitched tents on display near the water tower, there will be something for everyone to explore. Thursday 25 THE SECRETS OF BBC PLANET EARTH WITH PENGUIN LIVING Find out all about the TV series at this book celebration event. On Monday 22nd May, an Alzheimer’s and dementia café is going to be held from 2.00pm – 4.00pm at Monica Wills House, in the conference room. The event is free to attend for people living with dementia and their carers. Why not go along together for an afternoon of music, socialising, afternoon tea and more?

Walk Fest Family Farm Trails

29th - 31st May

This spring, see behind the scenes of the animal pens and have a go at the brass rubbing tour around Windmill Hill City Farm as part of Bristol Walk Fest. Walk one takes place on Monday 29th May from 10.30am - 11.30am. Walk two takes place Wednesday 31st May from 10.00am - 11.00am. The cost is £2.00 per child.
